19th In Melbourne!
Okay so for those of you who have forgotten... it was my birthday yesterday... Yes 9th April... I just want to say thanks to everyone who remembered and those who came to celebrate with me... it's nice to have friends celebrate with you the first year you are away... and this year most whom are close enough to me remembered... Hahaha... ;P Well then the day began when my housemates came barging into my room to wish me... the thing is... see I alreaday went to sleep and was at the stage where my body was too reluctant to move anymore... So I couldn't turn to look at them even... Didn't think they would've done that because they both said they were going to sleep before I did... but they got me and EXCELLENT gift shared by Eileen... a red Nike bagpack which I now rather adore... it looks so nice and it's RED!! Actually I feel kind of guilty I didn't get up to thank them when they came in... Hahaha... Then the rest of the day till evening was actually spent in boredom... I had to go do my Engineering Statics assignment which required me to go down to the Yarra River to look at bridges and figure out how the forces are distributed when a load is put on it... It was damn torturing... it was sooo HOT yesterday and it was so boring and the river was soooo long and the bridges all looked the same to me... so it took me some time to find the 3 different bridges I needed... After I got back I had practically nothing to do until my friends came so what the hell I just bummed around... really started to get really bored... But finally after everyone came... we went for dinner at a near by restaurant/bar... the food I ordered was not bad... but some of ther others said that the food sucked... so I recommend the everyone stay clear of the place... plus it's really expensive!! But it was the only place that could accommodate us... or so we expected... then after we were done they we went back to my place and we played mahjong like mad... it was my first time with mahjong but luckily I managed to pick it up after one round... not bad ei... they said I was a fast learner... but I haven't yet learnt to count the points but since we were just playing for fun it wasn't necessary... Played until nearly 3 a.m. which kind of pissed off my housemates I think... guys if you're reading this sorry mates!! Well then yeah so that was my birthday in a nutshell... it was more fun than it sounds mainly because I just hada some friends around... Cheers...
