Refugee Luncheon/Dinner
|
The Rotaract Club of Carlton has a weekly community service project of collecting bread from a bakery and delivering it to a nearby church every Thursday... the bread will be distributed the next day to refugees who go to the church for legal advice etc as well as just to mingle with other people... So anyway today the held a special luncheon/dinner to say goodbye to the founder of the mission who was leaving to teach English in Malaysia... so we helped out by making some food for them... We made sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried vegetables...It was fun making the food... I have to say it turned out pretty well... the chicken smelt sooo good... however I think we made too much food... Labels: Rotaract |
