The much awaited big screen adaptation of Dan Brown's best-selling "fictional" novel "The Da Vinci Code" has finally arrived... And thanks to Julia's planning ahead we were able to get tickets to see the movie on it's official release date...
Here's one of the trailers:
If you don't know what on earth The Da Vinci Code is all about... well either you do not wish to know or you have been banned from having anything to do with it... which in much likelyhood would mean that you will not be seeing the movie either...
For those of you who have read the book... I can safely say that the critics were wrong about the movie being below par... I thought Ron Howard managed to capture the essance of the book having to cramp in a whole load of facts into 2 and a half hours... do not be surprised if somethings seem a little odd... yes they changed it a little...
For those who have not read the book but are planning on seeing the movie... I am confident that you will be intrigued... who knows you might even enjoy it...
All in all... we all know that movies can never match up to it's book... because when we read our minds can interpret it the way we like... whereas in the movie it's all laid out in a platter for you and you either like it or not... But I do say this... it's one hell of a good mystery... Cheers...
