| Bravo 'Legends 2004'... 'Humanity' - Oh well...

So this year's Lit Nite is Legends 2004 and it was brilliant... However not everyone thinks so... to my surprise a lot of people said that last year's was better which I do not agree... This year's was short, exact, and well executed... I think the actors did well and the offstage people did well to manage the stage... My favourite performance was of course the musical Les Miserables... Naveena can really really sing... and she sounded really good too... happy that this year’s sound system is good... The poem was quite good as well and also the original piece at the beginning Putting It Together... The only thing bad about Legends 2004 was that the acting was monopolised by the same group of people... even though there were some fresh faces... you can see the lead roles are taken by the same people... and also they should have had the roll call to give credit to the hard work done by everyone... even though it would be long and boring... it should be done none-the-less... Then today I went for my ex-school’s (ok... my school‘s) Rangers/Guides Gathering with the theme of Humanity... I was quite disappointed that I didn’t see more ex-Rangers there but not like I didn’t expect it already... Not everyone is as enthusiastic as I am… and was shocked that they were so unprepared... The gathering itself did not get a very good turn out... so rude of the people... should have at least sent 5 representatives... I thought I would be bored to tell the truth but it turned out to be ok... Not that the activities and entertainment were particularly exciting but it wasn’t boring... So I think it can be considered an ok job... my props to the people who have worked hard on it namely the UL and AUL of 2004... Anyway just found out that I got 3Bs and 2Cs in this time’s report card... not very impressive is it?! I want to thank God for not failing Chem... shocking... Really have to work hard... I also got a letter from school inviting me to the Prize Giving Ceremony for my so called good results... Well yeah it is pretty good... but loads of people got better than me... so I’m just thankful; I got it... hehehe... Oh yeah I would like to toast to the Greece football team for beating France in the Eur 2004 match... Well done!!! So cheers...

| The worst 'week back from holiday' ever!!!

DAMN!!! 1st I got really bad marks for my Chemistry.... now I've lost my handphone!!!! Shitlar... I can't believe it... so unlucky... okay well maybe the Chem is not all about luck but I don't know... I just can't understand chem... it makes no sense to me... I really did trylar... I studied for it... so unfair!!!

Well first of all... I just want to exclamate how SAD it is that college started again... second semester... Getting mid year exam results back... Erm... no comments... Whatever... Enough of that... Well I really need help... does anyone know any good FREE file hosting sites??? Besides yahoo! Briefcase... Yes? No? Well I have my own fansite so I need space to upload files... Anyway... hopefully someone actually reads this and does know a good site... Yeah... Oh yes... I watched 13 Going On 30 staring (or is it starring??) Jeniffer Gardner (or is it Garner??) Well the Alias woman... Hmmmm no bad lar... chick flick I would say... pretty good though as a feel good movie... Yeah so... Cheers...

I've been following this Taiwanese TV series called Snowangel and thankfully it finally ended... Ok I know what you're thinking NOT ANOTHER one of those lousy Taiwanese shows... We'll personally I have to say that so of the people's acting skills are not up to standard but hey who cares... It's the story...
Well basically it's about this two orphaned brother lost one another, Xing Feng the elder one and Ji Teng the younger one, when Ji Teng fell into a river and was washed away by the strong current. Xing Feng thought that Ji Teng had died by he didn't. Many years later, Xing Feng was adopted by this rich guy who was a daughter and Xing Feng soon became a well established personel in the rich guys company. Ji Teng was saved by a farmer who owns a ranch. The two brothers grew to be very different people but the one thing in common was their hope in finding each other again. Anyway, cutting a lot of stuff in between, the rich guy knew he was going to die soon so he wanted to leave the company to Xing Feng. However the shareholders in the company were not satisfied. So to ensure trust, he wanted his daughter, Xue Tong, to marry Xing Feng (which to me is a weird thing as they both have the same surname...)... By chance Xue Tong met Ji Teng and she soon began to fall in love with Ji Teng. Ji Teng however has a weird personality where he does not trust anyone. He knew he liked her but he had a hard time accepting it. When Xing Feng found out about the two of them, he refused to let Xue Tong go as he actually loevs her more than a sister. Skip. On their wedding day, Ji Teng crashed in at the last second and stole her away. They became 'fugitives'. However, being a rich and powerful guy, Xing Feng managed to track them down. By fate, he even found out that Ji Teng was his long lost brother. He had a dilema whether he wanted his brother back or his love more. Everytime he found them they would escape again. Skip. One day, Ji Teng and Xue Tong decided to jump off a cliff so that they can stay together forever. However, by some miracle, or not, they survived. The twist is that she became blind and he lost his memory. Xing Feng used this opportunity to play the two of them. He got his brother back and Xue Tong was forced to marry him. About 2 years went by, Xue Tong was still upset at Xing Feng and had a 24/7 bad mood due to being blind. One day, by another twist of fate, Ji Teng called Xue Tong's phone by mistake. They got to talking and soon became good 'friends'. Xue Tong noticed that he had the exact same voice as Ji Teng but she believed that it was impossible. Everyday they would talk on the phone and Ji Teng, who has now became a well-known singer named Reno, was the only one who could make her laugh. The good mood led to the bloodclot in her brain (which was causing her blindness) to subside. She was soon healed. Almost immidiately she found out that Reno turned out to be Ji Teng. Skip. She tried to convince Ji Teng of their love but he had lost all memory and he did not want to betray his brother, Xing Feng. Skip a lot. When Ji Teng finally remembered back his 'previous' life, he wanted Xue Tong back. But soon he realised how much Xing Feng had sacrificed for him and pretended that he did not remember anything. Xing Feng on the other hand had his own battles to overcome. Because he had chosen Xue Tong to love, he ignored his good friend Elaine's love for him. She vowed to pay revenge and teamed up with Xing Feng's old nemesis, (I fogot his name so lets call him Tony), and they make his life hell. Skip. After a lot of trouble, Elaine realised she was wrong, Xing Feng knew that Xue tong would never love him as much as she loves Ji Teng so he granted her a divorce, and Ji Teng settled his problems between him and Xing Feng. When he found out they were getting a divorce, he went to look for Xue Tong, however, Xue Tong was not so sure about taking him back as she was too hurt. Skip. Xing Feng tries to get them together but when Xue Tong found out she wanted to run away. So Xing Feng told Ji Teng to go after her. However, Tony shows up just in time to create havoc. Being the protective brother, Xing Feng, chases after Tony and it soon become a car chase. Unfortunately, in the high speed chase, Xing Feng crashed into a truck and was seriously injured. Elaine who was way behind in the chase saw an ambulance driving past her had a bad feeling and ran after the ambulance as her car had stalled. When she reached the ambulance, he worse nightmare came true, it was Xing Feng. she stayed by his side in the ambulance. He came concious just for a short moment in time to say "Thank you Elaine. After all this you are still by my side", she told him to hang on but with a drop of tear dripping across his face, he died. In the mean time, Ji Teng reached the place Xing Feng had told him to go, he found Xue Tong and they began to exchange words:
Ji Teng: You know, I used to worry about you all the time. You were a spoilt princess. When we ran away and had no money, you still wanted to buy expensive things. I was worried that you weren't happy. (or something like that)
Xue Tong: I was the one who had to worry about you. When you got hungry I had to cook for you. When I bought expensive things I bought them for you. I'm not the spoilt princess anymore.
Ji Teng: Well then let me spend the rest of my life worrying about you. I love you. Will you marry me again. (They were only married in the eyes of God not legally)
He held out his hand for her. Just when she was about to reach, his phone rang. It was news of Xing Feng's death. Many years later, they met up at Xing Feng's grave as they do every year. Elaine just came back from South America and began talking to 'Xing Feng'. So they left her alone. As Ji Teng and Xue Tong walked down the road, they came to a fork where they went their separate ways. As she walked away, he called her, she turned and they said their goodbyes and continued on their own way.
Ji Teng's monolog: This love is reality and maybe Xue Tong and I are still on the journey. Somewhere in time, I know we will meet each other again in a far away place where we will find our true happiness together.
The End...
Usually I hate endingless endings... I prefer those happily ever after or sadly ever after kind... complete ones... But this one was exceptional... Over all, sometimes it was a bit draggy but it was good... Cheers...

| Lights, Camera, Action...
|
Went out again today to watch a movie... well 2 movies... Turns out that I'm kinda behind on the movie watching... Hahahaha... Well ok so I watched Day After Tomorrow and Sherk 2... Both are very good movies... Shrek 2 was very funny... very good... Not too cliched... Day After Tomorrow... honestly I wasn't very interested but my sis wanted to watch... so I gave it a shot... turned out to be a very good movie indeed... I loved the plot... Different but we can all relate to it... I think everyone on earth should watch that show... as a warning to all mankind to do something about the environmetal problems we have now before something like that happens... Very scary!!!! Ok so... over and out...
