We Are The Champions!!! Finally...
After a being 3-0 down to AC Milan... Liverpool made one of the greatest come backs in Champions League history!!!! The three goals from AC Milan were by Maldini and two by Crespo (on loan from Chelsea)... But in just 6 minutes Liverpool managed to score 3 goals to bring the scoreline back even... goals were scored by captain Gerrard, Smicer and Alonso... Then in extra time Dudek produced two great saves, denying Pirlo and Shevchenko to bring the match to penalties... with Liverpool winning 3-2!!!! Woohooo!!! The first Champions League trophy for Liverpool in 21 years!!!! Congratz Liverpool... I'm glad they did not let me down after so many years of me feeling so dissapointed with all the nearlies that Liverpool have come to... But FINALLY we've got something!!! Well done boys!!! Hah, in your face everyone who doubted them!!!! ;P Cheers!!

Sepet
Calling out to all Malaysians... I think there is a need for all of you who have not watched it to go watch it... maybe you should just download it or buy the "ciplak" vcd... but okay the movie wasn't like great or anything but it was the best I've seen for quite some time... they need to have some major light, colour and sound editing though...

If you haven't watched it don't continue reading... this entry may contain spoilers...

And for those of you who have... what do you reckon about the ending of the story?! Okay according to Vin Li... and some other people... the second time she called it went to the voicemail... and by some miracle he recorded the message to fit what she had to say... I call that "The Voicemail Theory"... hahaha ;P... or the seoncd one was that he didn't actually die... when they showed him lying in the pool of blood it was actually Orkid's imagination... So does anyone else have an interpretation of the ending or an idea of what the ending is supposed to mean?! Tell me... Cheers...

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy
I don't know how many of you have heard of this show... I don't think it's very popular... But I've watched it and I have to say that it was pretty good... This movie was originally a book... which then became a radio show... you know one of those where people voice act on radios... yeah those... then it was made into a short TV series... but that was pretty long ago... 1970s I think... then now it's made into a movie... the plot of the story is quite interesting really... it's about this English guy, Arthur, whom was just living his life nicely until one day his house was to be demolished witout his prior knowledge to made some kind of bypass... But more importantly... oblivious to all mankind, Earth was about to be blown up to make a bypass for the galaxy... But luckily... Arthur has this friend who was actually from another planet, who also knew that Earth was to be demolished, and so he saved Arthur by beaming the two of them on bored the demolishing spaceship... and hence making them hitchhikers... and soon they find themselves on an adventure... to find "The Ultimate Question to Life"... I find the ending of the show quite touching and it gives you a sense of appreciation for Earth... and it's quite funny the show... really it is... or maybe some of you won't get it... the show was an abridged version of the real story... I know this because well... I have the audiobook and I have actually watched the TV series as well... hahaha... It turned out that my uni library had the series when I first heard the movie was coming out and so I decided to watch that first... but of course the movie was much better... Well... so if you have the time I think you should give it a go... won't hurt... Cheers!!

Recipe: Tiramisu
This one's for Bavani... I found this recipe but have not tried it... although it did get a high rating and good reviews from those who have...

Ingredients:
CAKE:
1 (18.25 ounce) package moist white cake mix
1 teaspoon instant coffee powder
1/4 cup coffee
1 tablespoon coffee flavored liqueur

FILLING:
1 (8 ounce) container mascarpone cheese
1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons coffee flavored liqueur

FROSTING:
2 cups heavy cream
1/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 tablespoons coffee flavored liqueur

GARNISH:
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 (1 ounce) square semisweet chocolate

Baking Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour 3 (9 inch) pans.
2. Prepare the cake mix according to package directions. Divide two thirds of batter between 2 pans. Stir instant coffee into remaining batter; pour into remaining pan.
3. Bake in the preheated oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 10 minutes, then turn out onto a wire rack and cool completely. In a measuring cup, combine brewed coffee and 1 tablespoon coffee liqueur; set aside.
4. To make the filling: In a small bowl, using an electric mixer set on low speed, combine mascarpone, 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur; beat just until smooth. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
5. To make the frosting: In a medium bowl, using an electric mixer set on medium-high speed, beat the cream, 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar and 2 tablespoons coffee liqueur until stiff. Fold 1/2 cup of cream mixture into filling mixture.
6. To assemble the cake: Place one plain cake layer on a serving plate. Using a thin skewer, poke holes in cake, about 1 inch apart. Pour one third of reserved coffee mixture over cake, then spread with half of the filling mixture. Top with coffee-flavored cake layer; poke holes in cake. Pour another third of the coffee mixture over the second layer and spread with the remaining filling. Top with remaining cake layer; poke holes in cake. Pour remaining coffee mixture on top. Spread sides and top of cake with frosting. Place cocoa in a sieve and lightly dust top of cake. Garnish with chocolate curls. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before serving.
7. To make the chocolate curls, use a vegetable peeler and run it down the edge of the chocolate bar.

>Random Thought<
You know I was watching this cooking program on TV the other day and I so totally agree with something the guy said... He said, quote: "Cooking is an artform... it's not about the measurement." unquote. When I cook I hardly ever measure anything properly... I measure by my sight... if I see it looks like enough then it's enouogh... of course most often than not you'll later have to rely on your nose and taste buds to confirm what you did earlier was good enough... Most people think that cooking is such a technical thing but they are totally mistaken... You should use your intuition and gut... literally... ;P I guess it comes with experience... in terms of the more you do it the easier it gets... I myself don't remember when exactly that I started developing interest in cooking... but I know I've enjoyed doing it since I was young and personally... I haven't really cooked anything serious until I came over to Melbourne... I wouldn't dare say that I'm good at cooking... I really wouldn't... but I think... THINK... it does come rather naturally to me... I mean I can nearly estimate the taste of the food I'm going to end up with by the smell of their ingredients that's why you'll see me smell my cooking more often than tasting to see if it were salty enough... Don't believe me? Ask my housemate Priscilla... I think she thinks it's weird when I do that... So what about you?! Are you one of those people who think cooking is soooooooo difficult and you just CAN'T seem to do it right... and the only things you can cook is 2 minute noodles and fried eggs or to use the microwave for EVERYTHING? Personally... and I don't mean it as an insult... I don't understand how someone can not cook... I mean seriously... you just dump everything in let it cook and vualla... a decent meal... Hmmm... maybe you should give me something to ponder over... why not tell me why YOU find it simple or difficult to cook... :) Cheers!!

Recipe: Potato Gratin (Western)
The first time I had this dish was my first year watching F1. I was seated in the paddock, so we got to have a nice lunch...

Ingredients:
Potatoes (no specific amount, depends on the size of your baking pan)
Shredded cheese (any type will do depending on taste, but I recommend either cheddar, parmesan or mozzarella)
Butter
Garlic and onion (optional)
Thick/Heavy cream (one tub)
Salt and pepper
Herbs (optional)

Pre-cooking preparations:
1. Slice up some potatoes to about 2-3mm thick. There should be enough to cover your pan twice.
2. Coat your baking tray with a little butter, so that your dish would not stick to the pan.
3. Then add one layer of potatoes to your pan. Remember your baking pan should be appropriately size for the wmount of servings. Make sure you overlap each slice of potato.
4. The add a layer of cheese.
5. Add some herbs if you like. Any herbs will be fine depending on taste: mint, parsley, thyme, rosemary, sage, cumin, basil...
6. Then add the second layer of potatoes.
7. Now, melt some butter in a pot. Add a little oil before you put in the butter to prevent it from burning. About 3 table spoons of butter should be enough. Add in the garlic and onion if favoured. When the garlic browns or when the butter is complete melted. Pour it evenly over the potatoes.
8. Add salt and pepper to taste.
9. The pour the cream evenly over the whole pan and add a last layer of cheese.

Baking instructions:
1. Pre-heat the oven for about 10 minutes at 165 degrees. It's fine if you don't want to pre-heat but at least let the oven warm up.
2. Then let the potatoes bake for about 75 minutes or until it turns nice and golden brown.

Note: Don't bother removing the readied potatoes into a serving plate. Just leave it in the baking pan and let everyone help themselves.

Recipe: Honeydew Sago (Malaysian)
A great Malaysian-Chinese dessert! My favourite!

Ingredients:
Small honeydew (can be replaced with watermelon, rockmelon or you can even experiment with different fruits. Juicy fruits recommended)
Sago (tapioca pearls)
Coconut milk (santan) – about a can
Pandan leaves
Sugar
Water

Cooking instructions:
1. Heat up about two to two-half bowls of water with 2 pandan leaves inside until the water comes to a boil. I recommend that you use a large pot for this and let the water boil for some time, allow the water to soak up the pandan flavour.
2. Then remove the pandan leaves and add about half the coconut milk. Let it boil for about 5 minutes.
3. Add in the sago. Do not put too much about 30g is enough. Cook until the sago turns completely translucent.
4. Dice up the honeydew or whatever fruit you want while waiting.
5. Once the sago is tranlucent, pour in the remaining coconut milk and sugar depending on your taste. If you used a lot of water add more sugar. Let it boil for another 10 minutes or so.
6. Turn off the fire and add in the diced honeydew. Let it rest until it cools to room temperature.
7. Put it in the fridge to chill.

Note: Add a little bit of the juice from the fruit will give the dessert extra flavour. Also remember that my measurements are rough. Use your own instincts. I never bother with measurement, just my gut and taste bud.

Recipe: Cucur Udang (Malaysian)
Good for a snack and afternoon tea.

Ingredients:
Prawns (up to you however many you want to use)
Spring Onions
Onion
Plain all-purpose flour
Egg
Salt
Black pepper
Water
Cooking oil

Pre-cooking preparations:
1. De-shell the prawns if preferred. If you leave them on make sure you trim off all sharp edges. The cucur udang can either have one whole prawn in the middle or you can chop up the prawns and chuck it into the batter.
2. Chop up the onion and spring onion. For those of you who don’t know what is spring onion, it called “chung” in Chinese and it’s long and green and hollow and used to garnish porridge. It’s up to you how much you want to put in, personally I like loads of onion and less spring onion.

Batter instructions:
1. Pour about 2 cups of flours into a large mixing bowl. Add in 2 eggs and mix it in. I average about one egg per cup of flour.
2. Add water bit by bit into the flour mixture and mix well. Do this until you get a good consistency for the batter. Add more flour if necessary. If a lot of flour is added add one egg.
3. Once you get the batter to be smooth and thick like a pancake batter, add salt and pepper for taste, and also add in the onion, spring onion and prawns. Those who want one prawn on each fritter don’t add the prawns.

Cooking instructions:
1. To cook the fritters, just heat up enough cooking oil in a wok.
2. About one tbsp of batter should make a perfectly sized fritter. If you want the cucur udang to be perfectly circular, use a metal egg ring. For those who want one prawn per fritter, add the prawn in the center after placing the batter in the oil.Once it’s firm and golden brown remove it and drain it.

Recipe: Teriyaki Chicken (Japanese)
Ingredients:
¼ Chicken for every person (de-boned preferably)
Light and dark soy sauce
Rice wine or sake (optional)
Sugar
Garlic
Ginger
Pepper (optional)
Salt (optional)
Cooking oil or butter

Pre-cooking preparation:
1. If boneless chicken is used, tenderize the chicken by either chopping it with the non-sharp edge of the knife or wrapping the chicken in cling foil and hitting it down with something flat. Just a few times will do. This step is optional.
2. Chop up the garlic and ginger suite to taste.
3. Marinate the chicken with enough light soy sauce to cover the chicken, a little dark soy sauce, a little pepper and salt, about one tbsp of rice wine per piece of chicken, about one tsp of sugar per piece of chicken, garlic and ginger. Let it sit for at least 15 minutes.

Cooking instructions:
1. Heat up one tbsp of light soy sauce, one tbsp of water and one tbsp of sugar, per piece of chicken, in a pot. Once the sugar dilutes, turn off the fire.
2. Line a baking pan with enough aluminum foil to wrap the chicken in. Fold up the edges. Coat the aluminum foil lightly with butter or cooking oil.
3. Place the chicken on the foil, skin side up if there is skin, and pour the remaining contents of the marinade into the foil. Include the sauce from step one. Wrap everything in.
4. Bake the chicken at about 180-200 degrees Celsius for about 20-30 minutes or until cook, flipping once.

Note: You can always substitute all the different ingredients in the marinade for a bottle of teriyaki sauce.

Recipe: Ma Po Tofu (Chinese)
Serves 3-4

Ingredients:
1 small packet soft white tofu
About 270g minced pork (substitute with chicken, beef or turkey)
Garlic & onions to your taste
Chili bean paste
Half a cup of water or chicken stock
Light and dark soy sauce
Sesame oil
Black pepper
Salt & cumin powder (optional)
Cornstarch paste (cornstarch mixed with water)
Cooking oil

Pre-cooking preparation:
1. Cut the tofu into bite sized cubes. Try not to smash the tofu. If you can’t man handle tofu I suggest you cut them into slightly bigger cubes so that by the time you serve it they’ll be perfectly sized.
2. Marinate the pork. Mix in a pinch of salt (optional), black pepper, a tsp of light and dark soy sauce, a dash of cumin powder (optional). Then let it sit for at least 3 minutes.
3. Cornstarch paste. Use only maximum of one tsp of cornstarch and mix with enough water to dilute it.
4. Chop up the onion and garlic depending on your taste.

Cooking instructions:
1. Heat up about one tbsp of cooking oil on medium heat. Sauté the garlic and onion.
2. When they brown a little, insert the pork. Make sure you loosen the meat.
3. Once the meat is half cooked, add more pepper, light and dark soy sauce to your taste. In addition add a few dashes of sesame oil and two tbsp of chili bean paste.
4. Cook the pork a little longer before adding the water or stock and tofu. Mix the contents well and let it simmer on a low fire.
5. Right before taking it out, mix in the cornstarch paste. Stir well. Done.

Note: Ma Po Tofu should always be eaten with white rice

Oh! For Crying Out Load!!

You know how Australia has a freedom of speech policy? Well Aussies are pratically allowed to voice their thoughts publicly on almost all matters except religion. So anyway, the Student Union of University of Melbourne decided to protest against the formation of VSU by the Victorian Government... and they did it twice already so far... personally as an International student... I am FOR the formation of VSU and against their protest because if VSU becomes official, we won't have to pay for all those facilities we don't use... of course this means that the student union will be losing a lot of money... Actually I don't mind them protesting of course... but if they are going to make so much noise and block traffic... that's just annoying... Though... at least they are doing something instead of the usual Malaysian practice of "all talk, no action" policy... we always have loads of complaints but never do anything to get rid of them... So what's my point... no point... just a thought... ;P
Anyway here's a look of my nearly finished laksa... yes I made it myself... with fishballs, fishcake, tofu puffs, tofu skin, chicken pieces... only thing missing was sambal belacan... but all in all was not bad... hahaha... I keep forgetting to take pictures of what I cook... arrrrgghhhh... must remember!!! ;P Man I'm having this bad pain in the left side of my back... so annoying!!! That's all... cheers...

Know Me Better... Or Not...
pandp
You are Pride and Prejudice (Jane Austen); intellectually stimulating, romantic, and sardonic. You are a brilliant love story about how two people go through a complete change of feelings, and about how society of the early 1800s was quite hilarious. I'm glad they found love, because they used to hate each other. Go say something sarcastic.

when harry met sally
Everyone remembers the 'faked-orgasm-in-a-deli' sequence from your kind of movie When Harry Met Sally. It seems that you're falling for a buddy or have already fallen for them. Uh-oh. You're probably caught between the possibility of having a great relationship and wrecking the one you have now. You know what they say, it's better to regret something you did than something you didn't do.

You are a Samurai.
You are full of honour and value respect. You are not really the stereotypical hero, but you do fight for good. Just in your own way. For you, it is most certainly okay to kill an evil person, if it is for justice and peace. You also don't belive in mourning all the time and think that once you've hit a bad stage in life you just have to get up again. It's pointless to concentrate on emotional pain and better to just get on with everything. You also are a down to earth type of person and think before you act. Fire element
Your element is Fire. Like fire, you have a hot temper and you can be warm and loving as well and angry and wild. It all really comes down to what you are feeling. You have a lot of close friends who you are very protective over, and with your temper probably some enemies too. You are not Miss Popular in school since you are
your own person and don't want to be forced into behaving this or that way. You are the untamed wild horse, the kind that everyone wants to catch. But you don't want to be tied down for the moment and just keep going with
your little crushes. Your will is strong and if you set your mind to do something, you will most likely succeed. But beware, your friends may not always accept your mood-swinging behaviour. Even if you don't mean to be mean, they can still feel hurt. You just need to start thinking some things through before you do them, and not always jump in with so much courage. One day you may be hurt because of that, but then again, your element isn't fire if you start to analyse situations before you act. After all, your nature is to shoot first and ask the questions later. Rate and message!

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Silver Chair

Originally the 4th book... The Silver Chair is now the 6th in the series. Based in the year 1942 in normal human year count, Scrubb almost ran into Jill behind the gym, where she was hiding from 'Them'. That was when Scrubb told Jill of what had happened to him during the last lot ofholidays, and why he seemed a different person. Thier only hope was to see if they could make thier own way into Narnia. That was when things started to go wrong. After Aslan had given Jill a task and and Given her instructions to follow, it was time for he to go into Narnia after Scrubb. When she arrived, she realised how dull and grubby Scrubb, and how wet she was. Jill tried her best to get Scrubb to see if there was anyone he recognised or knew, But he was in a very dissagreable mood. It wasn't until after dinner and they were talking, that they realised that they had muffed the first of Aslan's Signs. After getting ready for a quick night escape, Jill and Scrubb met with the coucil of owls. That was when they heard the story of the lost prince, and it was decided what must be done at once. After the parliment had ended, Jill and Scrubb were taken, Much to Jills disgust, to meet Puddleglum. After having thier dinner, they help to get things prepared for an early start the next morning. Once on the moor, they rested for a while before continuing on. But now they had to walk past the giants which was not a pleasant experiance. After finding a bridge to cross the river, they followed the worn road, until they at last found Harfang. They decided it was best to camp the night and head for Harfang in the morning. While crossing the last hill in the dreadful wind, Jill found herself out of the wind in some sort of trench. But it was no use to them at all, for it did not go anywhere. After finally making it to Harfang, they were taken to the throne room and introduced to the king and queen. After meeting the king and queen, Jill, Scrubb, and Puddleglum, were taken to different rooms, where they were fed, cleaned and put to bed. By the time Jill was in bed, the snow had stopped, but it had started raining. After realising they had muffed the first 3 signs, it was time to work on a way out of the castle. After spending the morning in a very gay mood, Jill Scrubb, and Puddleglum waited until after lunch before trying to make thier escape throught the scullery door. It was during thier escape that they found themselves sliding down a rockslide, and being confronted by an unseen enemy. After discovering they were surrounded by and army of earthmen, the children and the Marshwiggle, were led through a series of tunnels and chambers, to an underground beach where they boarded a waiting boat. After disembarking, they were taken into the city where they met a knight in the service if the queen of the underworld. After having dinner with the knight and learning what the Queen of the Underworld was hoping to accomplish, Jill, Scrubb, and Puddleglum went to hide in another room while the earthmen came and saw to the prince. After the earthmen left, the Children and the Marsh-Wiggle helped the prince, and waited with him when the Queen returned. When the queen discovered the children and the Marsh-Wiggle with the prince, she wanted to know what was going on and tried putting them under an enchantment. It was all thanks to Puddleglum clear head and quick thinking that the enchantment was broken before it could take a proper hold over all of them. After dealing with Puddleglums foot, and resting a while, Everybody realised things were not quite right and that there was a strange sound coming from outside the castle. When they realised that there were enchantments surrounding the underworld, they all decided it was time to make thier escape as best they could. Golg the Gnome explained to the group, what had happened, and what all the earthmen were doing. Golg showed Jill, Scrubb, Puddleglum and the prince the way to the earth earth diggings that would lead them to the surface, and invited them to return to Bism with him and the rest of the earthmen. But it was time to leave as the water was rising and would soon cut them off. After discovering a hole high in the earth wall, Puddleglum lifted Jill onto his shoulders so she could see out. That was when she disappeared. After Jill realised where she was, and much confusion as to what was going on, Jill finally managed to get the others freed from the hole. With the prince already gone to meet his father when Jill awoke, it was time to wake Scrubb and Puddleglum, so that her and Scrubb could go and see the king and the prince before they left. While returning Jill and Scrubb to thier own world, Caspian and Aslan helped to sort out a few problems with the way things were run at Experiment House.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader

Originally the 3rd book... The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader is now the 5th in the series. Based in the year 1942 in normal human year count, Edmund and Lucy have been stuck with spending the Holidays with thier dreadful cousin Eustace Clarence Scrubb. One afternoon, Edmund and Lucy were talking about Narnia, when Eustace over heard them and came in to tease them. It was during this time that a very peculiar thing happened. While Eustace was complaining every chance he got.Edmund and Lucy were given a tour of the Dawn Treader. They had only been on the ship for a few days, when Eustace had tried to swing Reepicheep around by his tail, and ended up on the bad side of Reepicheep's sword. After walking for a short time on Falimath, Caspian met one of the Seven Lords he was searching for. After boarding the Dawn Treader again, caspian had some signals run up, for the rest of his fleet to assemble round the point, at Bernstead. After marching on the Castle of the Governor, and relieving him of his position, Caspian made the Lord Bern, Duke of the Lone Isles. Next they had the slave trade closed, and Caspian went and rescued his friends. Three weeks after landing at Narrowhaven, the Dawn Treader, once again, set sail. Lucy really enjoyed the next few days relaxing in the sun playing chess with Reepicheep. It was when the ship had started running dangerously low on fresh water, that they found land for the first time in 3 weeks. This was when Eustace dissappeared. While the others were all feasting on game they had found on the island, Eustace had found himself in a valley with no idea where he was. The next morning after waking, Eustace found that a very strange change had come over him in the night, and that he didn't like it too much. After he had gotten used to the change, Eustace found his was back to the others. After helping to restock, and remast the ship, Eustace was thinking he may have to be left behind for the rest of the voyage, that was until he had a night time visitor. The day on which they left, Caspian named the Island, Dragon Isle. Then he threw Lord Octesians bracelet to where no one could reach it. After leaving Dragon Isle, the ship headed for an uninhabited Island they had seen. After exploring it, it was named Burnt Isle. On the next Island, they found the fate of one of the Lords they were searching for, and could not leave the Island fast enough. It was on the last day they thought they could continue eastward, that the Dawn Treader came into sight of land. But it wasn't until Lucy had stopped to remove a stone from her shoe, that they found out they had been cut off from thier ship by invisible enemies. After feasting and sleeping, Lucy entered the house to complete the task she had been set. When Lucy finally made it to the Last door on the left, After a few distractions. She found, inside, what she was looking for, and began. After Aslan introduced Lucy to the Magician, She finally got to see what it was, she had made visible. That night, everyone feasted with the magician, and he gave them a very useful gift. The next day, after restocking, the Dawn Treader continued on her voyage. After almost 2 weeks of sailing, the crew thought they saw land so changed direction towards it. That was when they realised it wasn't land at all, it was just a complete darkness. Inside was the land where dreams came true. They sailed for days with the wind never dying, but always growing softer, until they spotted land. This was the Island some called the Worlds end. Here Caspian, Edmund, Lucy and Eustace feasted at Aslans table, and found three of the lords they were searching for. After meeting Ramandu, he explained that to break the enchantment, they must travel as far east as possible, and leave one of thier company there. After deciding who would travel with them to the end of thier voyage, everyone sat, and feasted at Aslans Table. While Drinian was telling Lucy not to mention the Sea People to anyone, Reepicheep and jumped over board thinking the Kng of the Sea People had challenged him. That was when they discovered the water was sweet. Almost as if you were drinking light. Then there came a time when Lucy, Edmund, Eustace, and Reepicheep had to leave the ship and go on alone in the boat. After days in the boat, Reepicheep had to go on by himself in his Coracle. The children then left the boat aswell and waded until they came to land. Here they met Aslan who, once again, sent them home. For this story has now come to an end. But let it be noted, Eustace was a far nicer boy following is adventures in Narnia.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Originally the 2nd book... Prince Caspian is now the 4th in the series. Based on the year 1941 in normal human year count, Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy were pulled off the railway station platform by some sort of magic. After exploring thier surroundings, and finding fresh water, they found what seemed to be an arch that was the entrace to and Apple Orchard. After realising they were in thier old castle Cair Paravel, The children found thier way into the treasure chamber. After exploring it for a short while, they returned outside again to settle for the night, but they took with them the gifts they recieved the first time they entered Narnia. While deciding how they were to make thier way to the mainland, the children were interupted by 2 guards who where trying to drown what seemed to be a dwarf. After saving the dwarf and catching some fish for breakfast, they all settled down so the dwarf could tell them his story. Caspian was a prince who wished he could live in the old Narnia. His Nurse told him stories about it, but ended up losing her job. Caspian recieved a tutor, and it wasn't until the middle of the night not long after the new tutor started, that Caspian learned the truth about the old Narnia. Caspian continued to learn more about Narnia in secret until one night Cornelius came to him and said that Caspian must leave at once. After Cornelius explained why Caspian must leave, Caspian made all haste to Archenland where he would be safe. But Caspian never made it to Archenland. With the help of Trufflehunter, Nikabrak, and Trumpkin, Caspian met with alot of the Old Narnians, and arranged to have a great feast on the Dancing Lawns. That night he found out he was at the Dancing Lawns and why they were named such, as well as meeting the Fauns. The night of the Great Feast arrived, with all manner of beats turning up for it. They had just settle in to start when Cornelius arrived with the news that they must leave at once. After days of battling Miraz's army without sucess, it was time to Blow Queen Suzan's horn and hope the stories about it were true. After Trumpkin had finished his story, and everyone had been fitted with weapons and Armour. It was time to be going. After deciding on the best way to get to Aslan's How and the young Prince, they collect up some apples and left. After the others had all gone to sleep, Lucy wandered through the trees talking to them, hoping to wake them up. The next morning they tried making thier way to Caspian without much luck, Until Lucy saw Aslan. After making it Beruna, they ran into a Sentry outpost, meaning they had to go back the way they had come. That night, Lucy once again walked among the trees who where almost awake. Then she saw Aslan again who said it was time to leave, for there was much to be done. With the others following behing her, Lucy led them the way Aslan took them to Aslans How. One by One they all started to see him untill he stopped and waited for them at Aslans How, and met Trumpkin for the first time. Finally Aslan called to him the Tree's and thier People for it was time for them to awake. Trumpkin and the boy's stopped outside the council chamber to hear how things were going inside. They were not going very well. After storming in and dealing with the traitor's, the boys met Caspian for the first time and they all sat down for breakfast. After breakfast, peter decided it was time to do something themselves while waiting for Aslan to tell them what was to be done. So he sent a challenge to Miraz and set everything up before lunch. The duel continued on for a while, and when it was over the Telmarines called treachery and attacked the Narnians. That was when the newly awoken tree's attacked. Meanwhile, Aslan and the girls had been having fun freeing the kind people from the things they didn't want to do, and punishing a few of the bad ones. After all the Telmarines had been captured and Reepicheep had been restored to his full Honour, Aslan gave the Telmarines a way back to the country they origionally came from. But it was up to Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy to lead the way, because this is the end of this adventure in Narnia.

Oil-scapade!!

I dunno... I just like to take the sky...

The Chef... who refused to give me a proper picture...

Errr are these cooked? They're bleeding!!

Watch out for the heart attack!!

Okay for those who have not sampled or let alone seen dear Miss Priscilla Ang's cooking... well I have it here at her finest moment... hahaha... NOT!! I'm really so evil... Truth is this really isn't her proudest moment... I have been wondering for some time now which one of us, between my housemates and I, would be the first to make fried chicken and unsuspectingly... it turned out to be PRIS!!! Gasp!!! Dum dum dum!!! Initially I think she wanted to chop up the chicken into small pieces... BUT unfortunately we don't have one of those huge butcher's knife but we do have one pretty good knife... I myself have used it to chop up chicken into smaller pieces but of course after that there was some blood splatters... kinda freaky... hahaha but that's another story... So... knowing my dear housemate, whom I was keeping an eye on just in case, only managed to cut through the flesh... boy oh boy... I tried teaching her how to do it proper but she's just too soft... oh well... so she decided to cook it as a whole but with the flesh cut till the bones... As I though the worst was over... I decided to go take a shower... BUT in the middle of my shower I hear the smoke detector go off...!!! When I came out... she hasn't even started cooking!!! Wonder how it was the smoke detector went off... hmmmm... Well anyway when she finally started it was pretty good at first... until of course the moisture from the chicken started leaking out and EVERYONE knows what happens when hot oil and water mixes!!! Oil splatters!!! Poor girl... she's not used to it like I am... When we took out the first batch... it was still bleeding... Fast forwarding to the conclusion... I took to the battlefield and took over the frying for the second batch of chicken... and the first batch was just a little undercooked... But there are lessons to be learnt from this... (1) Do not leave the chicken half-cut... (2) If you're gonna fry anything wet... dry it off as much as possible first... (3) When frying... it's best if the oil covers the whole piece of item... (4) And when ALL fails... leave it to the experts... "da bao" KFC!!! Hahahaha... Cheers...
