Badminton = Sore
I'm so sore now... my legs are in pain and my back is just well aching like crazy... probably didn't help that I went out clubbing the night before and then only had like 5 hours of sleep and then walked in the rain... mind you it was NOT JUST rain but also it was freezing and my arms were exposed to the rain because I never wear anything with long sleeves... which means my arms were pretty much in pins and needles when I got to the court... good thing I had a little time to rest as I decided to sit out the training session... But I have to say I had loads of fun... definitely want to go again... It's totally better then going to the gym which is soooooo boring... So anyone game?

Unproductive... So Unproductive...
Okay so I've planned my holidays before they started but now that they are here... my plans are pretty much no where near what I planned... which was supposed to be mostly studying and starting/completing my assignments but no... After that after-party "disaster"... well my biological clock has pretty much went all WRONG... and I've been waking up really really late... oh wait I forgot to mention that after I came back from the after-party... I ended up staying awake to talk to Lili, Zoe, and Kris... and we just ended up talking till it was like 5 something in the morning... and I only went to bed at like 8 am... so yeah... totally screwed... yeah so I'm yet to start on anything... oh but I have done a little OB... since I'm such an OB buff...

I-Ball After-Party
The International Commerce Students Society and International Engineering Students Society had their I-Ball yesterday and being the not so enthusiastic person that I am... I only went for the after-party... mainly because I haven't been out for soooo long... and hey I have to support my friends... whom make up most of the board... Anyway yeah the after-party was held in Velour in Flinders Lane between Russell and Exhibition Street... the place was actually pretty small but nice... drinks were pretty normally priced which means expensive... but it was just good to be out after such a long time... would have been better if the people I knew weren't all over the place though... oh well...

Seoul Restaurant
This week on our saturday outing we decided to try some Korean food... and so Lili told us that her Korean friend said that Seoul Restaurant on 369 Little Bourke Street was good... so we decided to go there... I had the spicy pork bulgolgi which is spicy pork cook on a hot plate aka Korean BBQ... And of course it came with rice and a bunch of side dishes which one included kimchi which for those of you who don't know is slightly spicy preserved fermented vegetables... a must for all Korean meals... I loved my meal... it was good... the pork was really tender... only thing was the price for the food was a little pricy... but we do get a rather large proportion... so it's pretty much a trade off... And when we were there it seemed like most of the customers were Koreans so the food must be really authentic... So I recommend the place...

Italian Pastry... Oh So Good!!
Okay so Julia, Lili and I went on another one of our Saturday outings... I love 'em... and we went to Crown for lunch... nothing big just ate at the food court... what we actually wanted to get from Crown was some delicious Italian pastry and Julia wanted to go to Prada to look at the bags... After we had lunch we headed to Cafe Greco which is also in Crown and let me just tell you... all the pastry are displayed at the entrance and when you walk through it's just like woooahhh... It took me like 10 minutes just to decide what I wanted to get... ended up getting chocolate tiramisu... Oh so good man!!! Oh so good... seriously if you wanted to get Italian pastries go to afe Greco... Brunetti's is good but Greco is better!! Well unless you have a sweet sweet tooth... because Brunetti's stuff are much sweeter... So yeah go try it...

A Deadly Week...
First it was Steve Irwin aka the crocodile hunter... and now Peter Brock the Australian motorracing legend has died but to an accident during a WA race... It was definitely a big big shock for everyone to hear that Steve Irwin was dead... when I first heard I was initially quite confused as to who was Steve Irwin and then it hit me... the croc guy!! "Crikey"!! It's just not a good week for anyone to be going dangerous stuff... so people lay off sky diving or hang-gliding or anything like that for awhile...

Refugee Luncheon/Dinner
The Rotaract Club of Carlton has a weekly community service project of collecting bread from a bakery and delivering it to a nearby church every Thursday... the bread will be distributed the next day to refugees who go to the church for legal advice etc as well as just to mingle with other people... So anyway today the held a special luncheon/dinner to say goodbye to the founder of the mission who was leaving to teach English in Malaysia... so we helped out by making some food for them... We made sweet and sour chicken and stir-fried vegetables...It was fun making the food... I have to say it turned out pretty well... the chicken smelt sooo good... however I think we made too much food...

And Then There Were Eight...
Okay so you know how we've always been told that there are 9 planets in our solar system... Well now it's not so true anymore... There are now 8 planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and 3 dwarf planets: Ceres, Pluto, Xena (large enough to be round, but which have not "cleared their neighbourhood" of other potential planets)... I think it's great that they made these new discoveries... but I mean how confusing are these "dwarf planets"... Oi... Anway all "planets" in order of distance from the sun... Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Ceres, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Xena... Anyway it's a whole long stroy how they decided to set it up that way...
