| Texas Hold'em... Oh Yeah!

| Just completed my first ever poker game and I won... oh yeah! Hahaha... two pairs and everyone was all in... sweet!! Anyway so yeah the Commonwealth Games have finally ended and it's actually kinda sad because like it was fun just watching the tv and cheering with everyone else shouting at the tv as well... Plus it didn't feel as boring especially with the extra activities going on in the city and the extra people in town... Pretty awesome... so it's now like twice that I've been in the city that hosted the Commonwealth Games... would be cool if it was the Olympics... that would've been awesome... And like it's just been an awesome week... but now it's back to work and back to reality... until Sunday of course... totally looking forward to the F1 GP in Melbourne... I'm going... yay!!! |
This is the story of Pocahontas... starting from when John Smith and the crew arrived at the "new world"... until she arrives in England married to John Rolfe with their son... there she is reunited with John Smith and part ways forever...
The movie was pretty boring but it had some good cinematography... That's the only credit I can give it... Oh and Christian Bale is in it...Labels: movie |

| Random Stabbings... Crazy
|
| There's been a recent streak of random stabbings in the western suburbs and one on Swanston Street in Melbourne... Over the past 4 days, 8 people have been killed and some others injured... it was not even like they were small people... some were like those huge bikers with loads of tattoos... It's crazy... it's totally random AND it was all during daylight... I really feel paranoid these few days walking to uni... I keep looking behind me because some of these people were stabbed in the back...!!!! So Melbournians be careful... Especially with all the extra people coming for the Commonwealth Games... who knows what kind of people are roaming the streets... Labels: news, random |

| Date Movie
|
A ridiculous movie about an obese girl who is desperate to find love... she enlists the help of a matchmaker, loses tonnes of weight and meets the man of her dreams... Everything goes well until she is introduced to her fiance's best man who isn't actually a man but his ex-fiance who broke up with him because she was not ready to commit but now she is and she schemes to break the happy couple up... Being obese for many years has made her insecure and she breaks off the engagement but the guy apologises and basically tells her how much he loves her and they end up happily ever after... That is the plot of the movie but it uses schemes from different movies and change them a little to be ridiculously stupid... including "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", "Meet The Parents & Fockers", "Hitch", "Princess Diaries", "Sweet Home Alabama", "Lord of The Rings", "Mr. and Mrs. Smith", "How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days", "The Wedding Planner", "Pretty Woman", "Kill Bill", "My Best Friend's Wedding"...
It was hilarious at times but mostly just stupid... Really not worth the watch...Labels: movie |

Starring Felicity Huffman from Desperate Housewives... this movie is about a pre-operative male-to-female transgender going by the name of bree who is just a week away from completing her gender change forever when she suddenly gets a phone call out of the blue telling her that she was the "father" of a boy, Toby, who is currently in need of her to bail him out of jail... Before she gets her operation... Bree is now required by her psychiatrist to resolve her relationship with her son... So she flies from Los Angeles to New York to pick up her son... without revealing her true identity... but it turned out that he did not want to go back... instead decides to follow Bree to Los Angeles... Bree schemes to drive across the United States and drop him off back home on the way... However things take a turn when she finds out that his mother had died and his step-father was abusing him... so she lets him travel with her... Things seemed to be going fine until Toby found out she was actually a he... he gets angry and picks up a hitchhiker to annoy Bree... and things got worst when the hitchhiker stole their car and left them stranded with no money... They then hitchhike to Bree's parents house in hope of her getting some money to fly back to Los Angeles because she was to get her operation the next day... Things heat up when Bree's mother refuses to accept that her only son was turning himself into a woman and finally when things just got out of control... Bree confesses to Toby about their true relationship... Toby could not accept the fact as well and runs away... Bree flies back to LA for her operation... Sometime later Toby arrives at Bree's place to see how she was doing...
An emotional yet funny journey with Bree who was very well portrayed by Felicity Huffman... It was draggy and monotonous at times but over all it was a good movie... But I reckon this movie is not for everyone as it can be quite a heavy load of frustration going around...Labels: movie |

| Well okay my friends were at the bar and one of the guys tried to get "fresh" (or at least that is what my friend calls it) with one of the girls and she totally freaked out so... she gave him the first excuse she could think of... and that is... "I'm a lesbian"... Yeah when she told us... we went histerical... her friends said why didn't she just tell him she just had a boyfriend... and now she's like totally freaked about whether he does think she's gay or what... And we were like telling her that he was just tipsy and he probably didn't remember it anyway because he's like totally normal around her... But seriously it hilarious what people say to dodge bullets... and the funny thing is... she totally into this other guy who the guy who hit on her knows... and she keeps sking him about that guy... man... this is so skrewed...
