| Evermore Rocks!!!

Ever heard of Evermore? No?! Well you are totally missing out... They are BLOODY AWESOME!!! Evermore are Jon, Peter and Dann Hume from New Zealand, Jon was born in Australia though and are now based in Sydney, Australia. Their first album was Dreams which as pretty good but I love Love LOVE their new album Real Life... First single from the album is Running, and second single is Light Surrounding You which I'm just obsessed with now... and I've attached the videos at the bottom... I went for their live show yesterday night... AWESOME!!! They are soooo good... oh man... they are sooooo good live... great songs... great musicians... great showmanship!! | Guys & Dolls

| So I went to see the musical Guys & Dolls by the Whitley Annual Residential Theatrical Society... The production is basically at the level of my high school English Literary & Debating Society's annual Literary Night production except that well we were an all-girls school... And well... Lit Nite was way better... was... it ended the year after mine... and also... the people who played two of the main characters Sky Masterson and Sarah Brown were terrible... well Sky was still rather tolerable... but the girl... man oh man she couldn't sing at all... note a single note... But overall it was at least funny... and the guy who played Nathan Detroit was good... At least I got to see some version of it... Labels: activity, performance |

Those of you who are in Melbourne should know that for the past... maybe two weeks... the Melbourne International Comedy Festival has been going on and if you don't know you then... you know now and you should really go see at least one... If you can afford it go for the more well known ones they are bound to be good but you should support the local comedians especially... Me and my housemates went to see Lawrence Leung... and here's the info of the show...
Under his bed, Lawrence has a locked briefcase of full of love letters he was too afraid to send. It has not been opened since 1996...He was a boy who liked puzzles. She was the principal's daughter. To win her heart, he boasted he could solve her Rubik's Cube in less than five minutes. He had to resort to taking the stickers off. Over the next fifteen years he would keep bumping into her, transforming his obsession with puzzles to how he would solve the riddle of unrequited love.Part human wildlife documentary, part good old-fashioned storytelling, Lawrence finally opens his Pandora's Briefcase. These puzzling pursuits are a marblebag of bittersweet delights.
